Childhood Center
Working Together With Children and
Families
254 Outlook Drive

The mission of Grant Early Childhood Center is to ensure social and academic
success by providing opportunities for all students to develop in a positive,
enriching environment.
District students and staff participated in the initiative
Blue Zone
Project kick off event, "Start Somewhere Walk," on Oct.
7. The Blue Zones Project is aligned with Governor Branstad's Healthy
State Initiative, working to make Iowa #1 in the nation for well-being by 2016. Iowa currently ranks 19th.

Super Heart Action Figure AKA Principal Val!
Grant School will
participate in Jump Rope For Heart this year. The kickoff will be this week
during an all school assembly on Friday Feb. 9th. At that time
students will receive their collection envelope. Please help your child
participate in this great cause. Regardless if your child participates or not
we would like to have all envelopes returned to school. The turn in date is
February 23rd. Also, we will do a celebration of our hard work on
collecting money for Jump Rope For Heart later this month with some special
activities for all.
If you would care to make a donation contact the Grant office or a Grant student
to contribute. What a great way to support our community!
