Grant Elementary

Currently, over 400 children are educated in grades K - 5.       Members of Grant’s support team include a full-time counselor, part time speech therapist, a part-time occupational therapist, a part-time physical therapist, a part-time psychologist, a part-time school social worker, two Multi categorical teachers, a part-time nurse, and two Title I teachers. 

In the fall of 2012, Grant School became an elementary, serving Kindergarten through fifth grade students.  The students came from neighboring Wilson Elementary, upon closing, and Van Buren due to boundary changes.

Harassment and bullying of students and employees are against federal, state and local policy, and are not tolerated by the Cedar Rapids Community School District. The District is committed to providing all students with a safe and civil school environment in which all members of the school community are treated with dignity and respect.
